If you’re a seafood lover, you’ll want to make plans to visit Hook & Reel soon. We recently stopped by, and once again, they proved why they’re one of our favorite local seafood spots. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and it’s a great place for the whole family including little ones. With plenty of free parking and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s an easy choice for lunch or dinner.
One of the highlights of our visit was their Limited-Time Soft Shell Crab Specials, available through September 30. If you’ve never had soft shell crab before, now’s the perfect time to try it.

Both specials come with your choice of French fries or sweet potato fries, making them a satisfying meal.
Beyond the seasonal specials, we also enjoyed several of our longtime favorites. The fried seafood platter is always a great value and packed with fresh seafood. Their seafood boil continues to be one of our go-to orders, and we were pleasantly surprised by the fresh oysters, especially when paired with their flavorful spicy sauce.
The coconut shrimp was perfectly cooked and fresh, and if you’re visiting for the first time, make sure you save room for dessert. Their Monkey Bread is easily a 10/10 and the perfect way to end your meal.
Hook & Reel also offers great lunch specials, happy hour, and seasonal menu features throughout the year, so there’s always something new to look forward to.
