First Course
Our meal began with warm toasted bread served alongside their flavorful umami sauce, followed by two excellent starters:
- Grandma-style Meatballs
- Crostino
The meatballs were one of my favorite bites of the night comforting, rich, and tasting just like homemade family recipes.
Main Courses
For our entrées, we tried two completely different dishes, and both were outstanding.
Pork Osso Buco
The pork osso buco was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone, and served over creamy white corn polenta that complemented every bite.
The Famous Cookery Burger
If you’re a burger lover, don’t skip this one. Their signature Cookery Burger, served on a sesame bun, is juicy, flavorful, and absolutely lives up to the hype.
Dessert
Dessert was the perfect ending to the meal.
We enjoyed:
- Ricotta Zeppolinis finished with blood orange zest
- Sticky Bun with an almond crust and rich caramel
- Chocolate Mocha Pot de Crème served with a crispy cannoli shell and amaretto crème fraîche
Every dessert offered something different, making it perfect for sharing around the table.
